Returns / Exchanges

We hope you are happy with all of your purchases at Fenwick Float-ors but we realize you may occasionally wish to return or exchange an item you have purchased from us yourself or that was purchased by someone else from us and given to you as a gift and so we offer 30 days for any return(s) and or exchange(s).

All returns / exchanges must be accompanied by a receipt (standard or gift - these may be paper or electronic).

If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.*

* Holiday Gift Extension: 

 - Items that are eligible for return / exchange under our full return / exchange policy that are purchased between November 1 and December 25 may be returned / exchanged until January 31 of the following year. (Please check our store hours as we may not be open on the last days in January and waiting until February or later will be too late.). Any purchase eligible for the "Holiday Gift Extension" returned / exchanged more than 30 days from original date of purchase will be exchanged for store credit only.

We understand that you may have many reasons for returning or exchanging a purchased item. Please understand we want each customer to be just as excited as you were when you made your original purchase. Therefore, out of respect for any future purchaser of an item, to be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same new condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with all tags intact, etc. For example...apparel must be in unworn, new condition, accompanied by all original tags intact. Lamp shades must have plastic wrap intact....in short the item should be in the same condition as when it originally left Fenwick Float-ors with you or when it was shipped to you.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned / exchanged:

- Perishable goods such as: food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned.

- Earrings

- Personal care items (makeup, perfume, skincare, etc.)

- Sunscreen, Soap, Lotion, Perfume, Bath salts, etc.

- Intimate products (including but not limited to undergarments, shape wear, and swimwear) or sanitary goods

- Seasonal Holiday Themed Items: Ornaments, Decor, Etc.

- Hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

- Gift Cards

- Health and personal care items.

- Swimwear, Bathing Suits, etc.

- Special order items

- Customized or personalized items.

- All discounted items (any amount).

- Items marked as “Final Sale”.

- All items purchased more than 30 days ago.

- Any shipping charges for shipped items are not refundable.

To complete your return / exchange we require a receipt (standard or gift) dated within 30 days.

 

How does it work?

- In Person Return(s) 

Simply bring your item In new condition accompanied by a receipt dated within 30 days to our retail store and visit a member of our customer care team who will be happy to evaluate your return request and process it accordingly.

If the item is eligible for return:

- When presented with a standard receipt any refund due will be provided in the original form of payment.

- When presented with a gift receipt a gift card for the refund amount will be given.

There are certain situations where return / exchange requests are denied or only partial refunds are granted. These may include but are not limited to:

- incomplete / damaged packaging.

- missing tags

- In person exchange

Simply bring your return / exchange eligible item in to our retail store and see a member of our customer care team who will process an in store return as described above. The resulting credit or gift card may be used for any subsequent purchases.

- Returns via Shipping / Delivery Service

We understand that all of our in store visitors and online customers do not live close enough to our retail store to make stoping in for an in store return within 30 days of purchase convenient.

So we are happy to accept returns via insured and trackable  Shipping / Delivery service ( USPS, UPS, FedEx...etc.)*. (Please note: when shipping an item to us you are responsible for shipping the item safely to us. We suggest using a trackable and insured shipping method.)

Please include:

- a copy of your receipt dated within 30 days

- the item(s) in new condition with all tags and packaging intact.

- your contact information (including your name, cell phone, email & shipping address).

- a note describing desired action to be taken

- * Please note: When shipping an item to us for a return, you are responsible for shipping the item safely to us. We suggest using a trackable and insured shipping method.

We encourage you to contact us to confirm your item is eligible for return before shipping a return request to limit the possibility of a denied request.

Once received by our team your return request will be processed:

- you will be notified of our receipt of your return request via email.

- The item must be in new condition, and accompanied by a receipt (original / gift) dated within 30 days. 

- Your returned item, receipt, etc will be evaluated and you will be notified if your request has been approved or denied.

 If the item is approved for return:

- When presented with a standard receipt, any refund will be provided in the original form of payment. The refund or proof of refund will be mailed to the address provided.

- When presented with a gift receipt a gift card for the refund amount will be given. The gift card will be mailed to the address provided.

if the return request is denied you will be contacted to make arrangements to have the item shipped back to you. You will be responsible for any cost of return shipping. Please contact us prior to shipping your return request to hopefully avoid this potential situation.

Exchange(s) via shipping / delivery service

We understand that all of our in store visitors and online customers do not live close enough to our retail store to make stopping in for an in store exchange convenient.

So, we are happy to offer exchange(s) via trackable and insured shipping / delivery service. ( USPS, UPS, FedEx...etc.)*. (Please note: when shipping an item to us you are responsible for shipping the item safely to us. We suggest using a trackable and insured shipping method.)

* If you would like to exchange your item via shipping / delivery service:

The first step for this type of exchange is to make sure your item is eligible for return and that we have an acceptable replacement available.

To do this:

- if an acceptable replacement is available an exchange can be initiated.

Please note you will be responsible for returning the item to us via a trackable and insured shipping method. Further you may need to arrange payment for any shipping or additional cost for the replacement item(s).

Once these arrangements have been made, a return authorization number will be assigned so we can process your exchange request correctly once we receive your returned item.

- your return / exchange authorization number

- your receipt dated within 30 days

- your item in new condition

- your contact information

- your requested exchange item

- a note describing your requested action.

 

Once received by our team your exchange request will be processed:

- you will be notified of our receipt of your exchange request via email. At this time your returned items will be matched up with the previously reserved item(s) via your assigned exchange number.

- Your returned item, receipt, etc will be evaluated and you will be notified if your request has been approved or denied. ( The returned item must be in new condition, and accompanied by a receipt (original / gift) dated within 30 days.)

 If the item is approved for exchange:

- When presented with a standard receipt, any refund due will be provided in the original form of payment. The replacement item, any refund due, proof of refund and any receipts for additional charges will be mailed to the address provided. Please allow up to 10 (ten) business days for us to process your exchange request. You will receive a tracking number once your new items have been shipped. Please allow for standard transit time for this shipment. You will be updated via email as your exchange progresses.

- When presented with a gift receipt a gift card for any refund amount will be given. The gift card for any refund amount due, the replacement item and any receipts for additional charges will be mailed to the address provided.  Please allow up to 10 (ten) business days for us to process your exchange request. You will receive a tracking number once your new items have been shipped. Please allow for standard transit time for this shipment. You will be updated via email as your exchange progresses.

- If the return request is denied you will be contacted to make arrangements to have the item shipped back to you. You will be responsible for any cost of return shipping.
